Export transparent PNG using a small foreground segmentation model that runs in the browser.

Select a local image, up to 12 MiB, 4 Megapixels.

The open source model will be loaded from this site at the beginning, and the images will not be uploaded. Model results may be wrong, please review the output and do not use it for safety or medical decisions.

After processing is complete, the results will be displayed here.

Instructions for use

  1. Choose a local image with a clear subject, up to 4 million pixels.
  2. Click "Remove Background" and wait for the model to process the image in the browser.
  3. Check edges and transparent areas in the preview before downloading the PNG; complex backgrounds may require additional refinement.

Calculation basis and reference materials

Use U²-Net small model with input up to 12 MiB, 4 million pixels. Complex backgrounds, transparent objects and thin hair may be accidentally deleted or remain, which is not perfect refinement.
