Re-encode JPEG/WebP in browser, compare original file and output size.

A single image can be up to 12 MiB and 16 million pixels. GIF/Animation WebP's normal image operations only process the first frame.

Instructions for use

  1. Select a local image and select JPEG or WebP output format.
  2. Adjust the compression quality and click "Compress Image"; the lower the value, the smaller the image and the easier it is to distort.
  3. Compare original file and output size, check preview before downloading. Recoding does not guarantee a smaller size.

Calculation basis and reference materials

Compression doesn't guarantee a smaller file; converting to JPEG will fill in the transparent background. Original metadata such as EXIF ​​is not preserved.
